I’ve been saying this for quite some time when we were hovering between 1.25 and 1.30 USD that we are going to see the CAD worth more than the US dollar very soon.. and it really is starting to look that way.
As you can see from this chart.. and even for you non-stock people.. pretty easy to see how over the last year the USD has gone soaring up.. and now is going almost straight down.. as of this writing it’s 1.099 or so.
I don’ t think we’re far from parity again.. so get your checkbooks ready, time to buy from the states again! Actually I’d say give it a month or so.. and we’re back at even or worth more.. my bold prediction.
