Awesome story about how a man lost.. and found, his stolen iPhone

No, I do not have an iPhone.. yes.. I do want an iPhone… however, I will wait.. I will wait until it’s on the Bell network before I purchase anything, for a few reasons.

  1. Rogers RIPS people off with the iPhone data packages in Canada
  2. Rogers sucks (sorry for the generalization, but I work for BellAliant, and I hate them)
  3. When Bell does get an iPhone, competition will force prices down somewhat of both the hardware and data package
  4. I have a Blackberry Pearl, and it’s the best phone in my opinion on the Bell Network

000063agNow having said that, I have played around with other peoples’ iPhones a lot and I love them. I mean, of course I love them, I’m a gadget freak, and this is the ultimate gadget. So yeah, I digress… let’s get to the story.

The link below links to a story about a guy who was attending a LEGO convention (yeah, I know eh? *snicker*).. went to eat at a Chicago bar with a few friends, and left his iPhone for about 5 minutes. It was stolen….

Without giving away the whole story.. let’s just say he had the ‘Find My iPhone’ service activated on his MobileMe Apple account, and it works.
