Save Substantial Energy with Small Household Changes

Gordon Hudson blogged about how he very slowly but surely changed some subtle things in his house and ended up saving CONSIDERABLE amounts of money in electricity and heating costs. I am a firm believer in this as well and even moreso after I picked up an energy meter and checked out some of the ‘plugged in’ items that were on standby or not being used still sucking up power and money! (Toaster was a big eye opener for me using 8w ALWAYS) .. no wonder they are the #1 causes of fires…. or close.. i made that up.

Anyhow.. some interesting reading for sure.. good tips.
