I am always on the lookout for new software to use to replace either non-free software or software which is bloated and full of useless features which slow down my system (Norton anyone?). Anyhow, here is a free iTunes replacement which boasts a very wide range of devices in which it’s compatible. Also the sync functionality on devices like my Blackberry make it a really cool application to have. I have a non-iPod mp3 device, as well as said Blackberry which I use to play my music.. so this is really nice to have a replacement which is very similar to iTunes.. check it out

You can use, DoubleTwist to sync your media devices as well as share your media with friends and sites such as Flickr and YouTube. It can also convert videos to formats needed by certain devices, on the fly.
