Once again, it’s Buy.com’s weekly deals time. I usually like to write about their sale due to the fact it keeps me updated with all the new tech and also where the prices are going. They have much more than tech though, which is another reason why I like their site.
For example, this week they have a Kingston 16GB CompactFlash Elite Pro 133X card which would be EXTREMELY helpful for me since that’s what both my 40D Canon Camera AND my Canon Rebel XT take as storage mediums. Let’s see, shooting RAW, I can get just over 200 photos on one of my 2GB cards, so with this sucker..I’d be able to take 1600 photos before the card needed to be replaced? I think I just found myself a new item for my Christmas list!
I actually have both a Rebel XT and a 40D on for sale on Kijiji.ca right now, reason being.. I don’t want to have 3 cameras, so whichever sells first, I’ll keep the other. No big deal for me. I’m kind of hoping that the 40D sells, as it’s more expensive, and that will mean I can save up and get a new lens just in time for the wedding I have to shoot on New Years Eve!
