Man, Halloween is getting to be a very costly day!
Just got back from Walmart, and of course we spent over $100 on candy! Man oh man, as much as that bothers me.. nothing bothers me more than how much they mark them down as soon as Halloween is over! What we just bought for $9.50 a bag, will likely be on sale for $4.00 a bag or less after Saturday! GRRR!!
Spent a few hours at Liz’s Moms place this afternoon as well. Her Mom is helping Liz sew together her costume for Saturday.. I only saw a preview of it, but it looks awesome! I’m not sure how much she spent on the pattern or fabric, but again, these are things that can’t be helped I guess. It leaves me without a costume idea however, I do this every year, I end up going around the house and finding things to use. Well, I guess last year was pretty good as I went as a stickman.. Looked pretty lame in the lights, but in the dark.. lookout!
