Thanks for uncovering this lencurrie. Because of your tip we discovered that this ad was run across 30 of our Used sites. We have since contacted everyone who replied to the seller to warn them of the scam.

Good work – Its such a shame Kijiji and Used are such minefields because without the scammers it could be a great free service.

Ah the illusive cheap iphone deal – does it exist?

Had hoped that with it being open to more carriers that the overall cost would come down but doesn't look likely. Just dont use our cell enough to justify the outlay and tying myself to it for 36mths.
Maybe when the next incarnation comes along carriers will be more generous with their deals. For now its itouch and cheap Pre-pay cell

Well, I posted another ad on UsedPEI which has the same heading so anyone searching for an iPhone will know.. best I'm going to do likely..

Marketplace won't likely do much since there are SO many scammers on these classified sites.
