I just hosted the first of a series of poker tournaments last night so I’m trying to put off cleaning for as much as I can. As anyone whom does any travelling will tell you, Air Canada and Westjet.. and I guess all airlines all over the world, are having huge seat sales to drum up business.
What I’m wondering is what people ended up getting as far as seat sales go. For whatever reason, I always seem to compare the prices to the time WAYY back when Air Canada went on strike. When they returned to work they offered some unreal deals and I remember flying out to Victoria return from Charlottetown for $399 or something like that taxes in. Now keep in mind that this was over 10 years ago at least (I think). Anyhow, when I look at seat sales I always seem to do a search for a return flight to Vancouver just to compare – and for the first time in a very, very long time – the price was $401 or something return to Vancouver! The same that it was that long ago! Wow!
So ya.. I’ve got a lot of blogging to do the next few days – I’m going to do my best to have a lot more helpful hints and tips that I’ve found all over the Internet for you..but if you’ve booked a sweet deal for a week down at one of the Walt Disney World Hotels or Las Legas or something.. let me know, I’m curious .. and very jealous.
