Trying Out A Mac Again..

So here I am, typing away on my Mac, being stared at by two very cute beagles.. (I think it’s due to the fact that I’m eating popcorn currently..).

Anyhow, I must admit that things have changed quite a bit since the last time I used a Mac on any regular basis. I remember one of the biggest challenges was trying to get my bookmarks and passwords all ‘imported’ into whatever browser I was using, but now I find with ‘xmarks’ that this task is a breeze to resolve as it handles both password syncing as well as bookmarks.. Very cool app.

Now the only problem that I just realized has come back again is audio being distorted after about 5 or 6 minutes playing in iTunes.. I remember this being an issue before, perhaps I’ll just end up purchasing a damn sound card or something for this sometimes it’s just not worth the hassle. Speaking of hassle, there are a TON of keyboard shortcuts that I’m missing out on too.. when I’m writing something like this blog entry, I use the ‘alt+home’ shortcut to move the cursur to the beginning of the paragraph or line or whatever.. hmm.. have to look up how to do that in mac cuz I really don’t know how to do that right now… I guess it’ll all come back to me eventually.

I think I’ll take the rest of the night and go watch some TV or something as I’ve been on this damn thing all day. I’ve already checked out the sale items that are around (just to drive myself crazy since I can’t afford nor want to purchase anything in the near future) – I tell you one thing, I’d sure as hell like to know where these HDMI port switches were when I was setting up my home theatre way back when, I was going out of my mind since anything I saw was over $100 and this silly little thing is going for $17.99! Ok.. rant over.. time to get downstairs.. I have officially been here way too long.

But I’ll leave you with a cool link if you like documentaries (I love them!).. check out http://freedocumentaries.org/! It’s a list of awesome free to download documentaries and a lot of the are relatively new too.. titles such as : Supersize Me, Sicko, Bowling for Columbine! I loved those flicks.. Ok.. night!
