I hate painting. I really hate it.. so why the hell do I want to do it?? I’m not sure if it’s the home shows I’ve seen lately, or perhaps the amount of time visiting other people’s homes during the holidays, but I really feel like I want to do some subtle and not-so-subtle renovations to the house. I’d say it’s about time.
Hmm, you know, I just thought of something.. next Wednesday my boy is heading in for surgery on his back leg (yes.. my boy is Hunter the beagle in case you didn’t realize), and when that happens.. I’m taking the next 3 days off.. This would be a GREAT opportunity while I’m home making sure he’s all good to do some of this painting I’ve been speaking of.
I’m also getting in the mood to do some kitchen renos’ too.. maybe it’s just that time of year is it? I have no idea.. but I can tell you that not only do I want to install a new Kohler faucet or something similar, but I also want to tile the kitchen floor and get an Island for it. Nothing too serious eh?? HA!
Well I’d have to say that these things are definitely do-able and more than likely going to happen sometime in the near future. I’ll have to keep you in the loop.
I’ll have to apologize for the lack of posts lately, I’ve been run off my feet with Christmas visits, shopping, and Photography stuff that I haven’t had two minutes to rub together it seems. Hopefully this week is going to be better and I’ll have more time to get some good information out to you. God knows there has to be lots to catch up on! Stay tuned!!
