See ya later yellow paint! At long last we are getting the interior of our house painted! Woot Woot! A friend of Liz’s is giving us a really good price and unfortunately painting is one of those things that I cannot STAND doing for larger areas (such as the entire living room and kitchen!) so we’re getting it done professionally. Sweet!
Unfortunately, that means that we’re living in a pig sty for the next few days while things are being moved and re-arranged to make room for the job. We spent a bunch of time yesterday removing all the pictures and all the nails from the walls, moving all the furniture and prepping so to speak for the work that’s going to be done the next few days. I’m pretty excited about it truthfully.
On my trip home for lunch I noticed that he spent almost the entire morning filling in the holes and fixing up irregularities in the gyprock from the years of neglect.. I’m pretty darn impressed by that I must say!
I will ask if he’s looking for more work so stand by if you’re looking to get some painting done, I can tell you the process so far has been top-notch.
Thankfully we’re not getting our bedroom repainted as with the smell of it all, I’d likely be using the outdoor pillows and sleeping outside!
