So I have written 4 blog posts so far on the iPad using a Bluetooth keyboard sitting at my kitchen table. Why didn’t I just go to my computer and do it? Well, that’s a very valid question – but I think the main reason that I didn’t was that I find it very distracting to do that. When I get on there, I want to touch up photos, check Facebook, get on YouTube, etc..etc.. it’s pretty easy to get distracted.
So when I’m sitting out here in the kitchen (the setup very similar to what’s in this picture), I can chill out and listen to music – and just write a few thoughts or notes. Now I’m not saying that it’s the most productive way to write, but it works.
The iPad is also great for doing all kinds of web stuff while you’re sitting wherever you want. You want to check out the latest sports scores? Check out the latest video on YouTube? Check your Email? Hell you can look up Clinicallix reviews or whatever the hell else you want.. but the other features also make it a pretty killer product.
Features such as it being an e-book reader (my main reason for buying it), but also let’s not forget where it all started.. it’s got iTunes, and oh.. yeah, access to the 250,000 applications that the Apple Store currently has. Crazy! Recipes? No problem.. there are a LOT of reasons to own one.
So I’m approaching a week with my iPad and although I’m still not 100% keeping it yet, it’s looking more and more like a permanent place with us.
