Wee haw!

So I just got off the phone with Mastercard as I decided that there was really no benefit from me having the fees associated with my card anymore. I was paying $99 a year to have the gold air miles Mastercard, and I was also $35 a year to have the lower interest rate from 19.5% (holy shit!) to (12.9%).

I have a very big love-hate relationship with Future Shop. I love that they are here and that I can go pick up the latest (not always) tech in a matter of minutes if I wanted it badly enough, but I hate that they mark up certain items and really screw the people that don’t know any better or fail to do a little research.

There are certain benefits to being a photographer – certainly you get to meet a lot of amazing people and it’s really exciting to get a great shot that you can’t wait to show off, but another benefit which I just found out Tuesday at the PEI Photo Club’s monthly meeting is that you have a lot of business owners in there, and some of them have some awesome ideas.

I just finished ordering contact lenses for myself and Liz which will do myself for likely the next year and a half, and Liz at least another few months. She’s still trying to figure out which ones she likes the best while I just plain ran out.
