Alrighty, well I had a pretty great weekend with some great friends, family and perhaps drink of wine or two.. some card games, board games, and wine games were had. I’m also VERY pumped that I finally sold my winter car I’ve used the last two years as well, it’s been for sale since the beginning of the summer so to have it gone is a big relief, even if I didn’t get as much out of it as I thought it was worth – isn’t that always the way?

I’ve written about the bad drivers in PEI before, and honestly it just keeps getting worse and worse I find here on the Island which is a shame. However, I’m pretty sure there would be a hell of a lot less illegal parking downtown if they did something like this once or twice.. HA!

So I spent the better half of yesterday afternoon putting on new routers and brake pads on the front of the beater car I’ve driven over the past few winters.. started to wonder if I saved any money doing it.
Obviously I would have saved the labour costs which a garage would have charged me, but all in all.. it still cost me about $140 to put new routers and brake pads on the front two wheels. I guess that’s not so bad.. but actually.. even more important than that was …
