Do I Need Coffee Yet?

Yeah so I have to apologize to everyone as I haven’t been able to post much in the last week or so. The reason is simple… I’m trying to get caught up on photography jobs! The good news is that I’m doing a great job and thanks to a couple procrastination tips (will create a post on this soon) I’ve been able to get a lot or work done that I’ve been putting off. Not on purpose, it’s just very [...]

Wish Me Luck – Going To Try Giving Up Coffee..

I post a lot about coffee.. I talk about how profitable it must be (seeing the huge amount of coffee shops around town), I blog about how expensive it is, how I save money by making my own, even talked about how we should stop drinking it and instead save some money and drink beer!

Anyhow today – July 14th, I’m going to try to give up my morning coffee. There are a few reasons that I’m thinking about doing this [...]

Beer For Breakfast …

Wow where does the weekend go? The PEI TweetUp on Friday night, Wine Show Saturday night and Fathers Day on Sunday – I guess that’s where the weekend goes eh? For those of you whom don’t have a clue and are wondering what the hell the PEI TweetUp was.. well, to put it simply – it was a gathering of people from PEI whom use Twitter. And it was a fantastic idea and went off really well I thought.

To [...]

Gas Went Down! So What?!?! Read On..

IRAC = Useless

Ever since I  actually calculated how little the $0.02 movement in price per liter amounted to at the pumps every couple of weeks.. I really can’t believe how I used to rush to the pumps or used to, the night before gas was going to move in price. Let’s just take a look shall we?

Ok.. so, the other day IRAC announced that they were cutting the price of gas by 1.5 cents per liter. Most of us [...]

Going to Tim Hortons? Get a damn cookie!..

Seriously.. for the price of about 3/4 of a coffee.. 100% of the proceeds are donated to charity.. hmm.. I’d sure like to know WHICH charities they go to, but even still, $1.00 is nothing.. and with the popularity of Tim Hortons.. I’m sure they’ll sell out quick.

$1.00 for a cookie which goes to charity? Buy 1000 and write it off!

I will continue to walk past Starbucks..

I dont' even like their coffee anyhow!

So Starbucks is officially coming to Charlottetown… I’m sure as some people are die-hard Starbucks fans, they will venture in to take in some of their coffees from the original store instead of the few spots you could get Starbucks coffee from (like Mavors I believe in the Confederation Court Mall).

I however, will not be caught dead in Starbucks. I don’t believe in a $3.00 morning coffee.. hell, I barely believe in a [...]

I’m feeling very French today..

Mai Oui! Actually, I don’t know if it’s the French that made this device up.. but do you know what a French Press is? I honestly have for quite some time, or at least ever since one of my first jobs working in a coffee shop at the Delta (formerly the Prince Edward Hotel) in PEI here.

Ok, getting to the point.. I saw in the Canadian Tire flyer that they had one on for $8 (50% off) so I decided [...]
