Mom’s have great advice, there is no question about that. Sadly as hard as I try to recreate some of Mom’s home cooked recipes in my own kitchen they just don’t turn out the same. Of course, as long as Mom is cooking FOR me every so often, I really don’t feel that bad about it
While I was browsing the net I came across a the site named momadvice.com which I think is pretty self-explanatory in what information it contain, but I thought to myself “I need to …

When I was in Italy what seems to be a VERY, VERY long time ago.. one thing I noticed about their kitchens (besides their brick pizza ovens which I am very jealous of) was the size of their refrigerators. They’re TINY! I remember asking why that was and was simply told that it was due to the fact that they don’t ‘keep’ things in their fridges other than some leftovers perhaps, some cheeses, drinks, etc.
So what do they do different?
They go to the market almost every day and pick up …

Yep, that’s right.. on both counts.
I’m proud to say that as of this morning I am down 9.2 lbs, and Liz was down 10.4 lbs as of this morning as well. How awesome is that eh? Pretty darn awesome if you ask me It’s all about what you eat.. as I’ve posted before.. I do a little bit of exercise in the way of goaltending now, but it isn’t exercise that makes you drop weight, it’s the foot you eat.

On September 18th at Participating Burger King locations they will be offering free breakfast sandwiches!
There is no purchase necessary and this offer excludes their enormous omelette sandwich. So treat yourself out this Friday morning to a nice breakfast sandwich like this Croissanwich with Egg and Cheese for free between 7am-10:30am.
It hasn’t been confirmed that this is happening at our local BK, however I believe it certainly would.. .wow are they ever going to be busy with all those hungry students at …

The instructions are as follows:
Freeze some banana’s.. (I already had one frozen)
Put it in a blender…. and then (are you ready for this.. )
Blend it
As it says in the 1-ingredient ice cream Instructable, “At …

This actually makes a little sense to me… after seeing people very close to me lose over 30lbs each on weight watchers, which requires very little exercise.. and seeing the bellies on some of the people I know whom go to the gym all the time and play hockey, etc..etc.. I read this article with great interest.
Thankfully, I am not one of the people that pay for a membership to a gym.. sadly, I am not a ‘gym person’.. I’m a sports and active person. I would rather play 4 …

As I’m sitting here and my stomach is rumbling, I’m going to do probably the worst thing that I could think of.. write about food. I think I’m nuts.
I want to advise you of (based on their own nutritional facts) the best and worst foods you can get at your favorite (or not) Fast Food restaurants!
I must admit, I was shocked when I found out the healthiest item on McDonalds menu… is a hamburger. However I’m relieved that my Wendy’s Chili which I love, is the best thing on Wendy’s …
