My New iPhone 4 – My Review

I haven’t been posting much lately and for that I apologize, truth is that I haven’t had 30 seconds to sit down and write anything worthwhile in quite awhile due to my photography side-business mostly, but also with a new computer, painting, as well as getting my new iPhone which I wanted to talk about today.

This sucker is hard to come by, in fact when it was first announced up for sale in Canada last month I’ve heard that they [...]

I’ve Joined the iPhone Revolution – iPhone 4 Is Ordered!

So apparently I’m kind of on a spending spree, first it was the new computer – and now, myself and Liz have ordered iPhones.… (no, I’m not real happy about this being so close to having my line of credit paid off), but the time has come. Both Liz and I have saved up for awhile and we both really love the iPhones, and the new iPhone 4 now has us hook, line and sinker. Every time I play with [...]

Don’t Think About What You’re Missing – Think About What You Have!

People are funny creatures. When it comes to most things, we almost always desire the things we don’t have. Why is that? I really wish I had the answer as I think if people thought about what they had instead of what they didn’t have, a lot of the major problems would go away.

I just finished reading a post over at Canadian Dream: Free at 45 where he wrote about how saving money shouldn’t be like dieting. What [...]

iRobot Roomba 400 – My Initial Review

Well as you may know, I purchased an iRobot Roomba robotic vacuum the other day from London Drugs. Apparently I got a great deal on it since I purchased it for $99 and it appears that you can now get them for $139, so saved $40 by shopping on sale. Pretty good savings as I said before and the fact that I’ve been eying these for quite some time.

So I received the notice that the delivery guy was there [...]

Fighting the “Don’t Buy Anything” Urge Big Time…

I guess I shouldn’t say that I’ve been completely successful with fighting the urge to buy anything as I’m expecting my Roomba robotic vacuum that I purchased anytime this week :S But I guess I can defend that purchase with the fact that I’ve been curious about them and have been looking at them since they were pretty much introduced. That, and the fact my buddy had one and absolutely loved it – so when the price was under $99.. [...]

Stuck in a Cell Phone Contract? Not anymore!!

Well, similar to the car lease “contracts” which people get into and quickly realize they’re over their heads, there is now a cell phone contract site in which people can get out of their cell contracts – or get into an older one – basically free of charge.

The site is called cellclients.com (Canadian.. yay!) and since I’m sort of in the market for a new phone it’s quite an interesting idea. I know that I can’t even afford the sale [...]

UsedPEI-Kijiji Scam for iPhone’s Uncovered By Yours Truly…

With all the hype over the new Bell/Telus HSPA network and the launching of the iPhone, I’d say that there are a lot of people that are looking at getting the brand new device and likely looking to get it as cheap as possible.

Me being one of them.

While looking up information on the packages and such, I decided that I’d go to my local online classifieds to see if anyone was selling any online… this is when I came across the [...]

iPhone Available On Bell Network Tomorrow! November 4th…

Received in my email box this morning:

And since I’m such a good Googler.. I found the pricing for data plans announced over at iphoneincanada.ca.. looks to me that with WiFi.. the individual plan would be best for this kid.

The initial offerings for the Bell iPhone 3G/3GS plans include three Individual (consumer) Plans, each that will include daytime minutes, evening/weekend minutes and additional bonuses/promos. Each plan will allow for promotional pricing of the iPhone [...]

TELUS to bring iPhone 3GS to Canada Thursday, November 5

The information we’ve all been waiting for.. well, at least on Telus’ part.. launch date.. November 5th! The scary part is looking down at those prices for the unit itself ($599.00).. I think I’ll just have to save up a LOT in order to buy an iPhone! (Hell I could by an industrial computer for the price of this little funky device.. *sigh*.. that just sucks.. let’s go EBAY!)
