Gidget, the tiny Chihuahua star of Taco Bell’s “Yo Quiero Taco Bell” ad series in the ’90s, in addition to other ad and film work, died yesterday of an apparent stroke. She (yes, she) was fifteen years old.

As many of you know, I’m a huge supported of the PEI Humane Society.. did you know they get no government support WHATSOEVER?!? What’s the deal with that?? The are a completely privately funded non-profit. Seriously.. the government can pay for a lot of…. ok.. I won’t go into it.. but a lot of worthless things!… and they can’t afford to throw some money at the one place that looks after our beloved Pets? Anyhow.. that’s another rant..
